Privacy policy

Draft, before launch

This page describes what we intend, in plain language. The seller and grievance officer are named below; the GSTIN and the refund window will be added before sales open.

Before launch

The only thing Medha collects today is what you give us to join the launch list: your email address, the page you joined from, and the date. Nothing else, and no tracking scripts.

After launch

A family account holds the parent's email (for sign-in codes and as parental consent), the student's email for their own sign-in, the student's first name or nickname, the exam they are preparing for, and their courses and progress. No phone number or address is required. Payment details are handled by our payment provider and never stored on our servers.

A parent sees their child's progress, never the child's individual answers.

Children's data (DPDP Act, 2023)

Because most students are under 18, the Act's rules for children's data apply: verifiable parental consent (the parent holds the account), no behavioural monitoring of children, and no advertising aimed at children.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of what we hold about your family, or ask us to delete it, at any time.

Medha is run by APSARA EdTech Labs, a partnership firm, Plot No. 132, Forest Park, 1st Floor, Bhubaneswar 751009, Odisha, India. It is responsible for your data.
