Medha is built by Asha Prakash Panda, a software and data architect with 17 years building systems — most recently LexEdge, whose serverless architecture Medha reuses end to end: the same OTP login, the same ~₹850/month infrastructure, the same discipline of staying small and fast rather than adding servers to look serious.

That discipline is the point. Medha is priced at ₹1,999/year for every subject — priced low because it's efficient, never because it's thin. There is no venture-scale burn to justify, no sales team to pay for, no discount to claw back later. The architecture is proven; the price reflects what it actually costs to run, not what the market will bear.

The idea itself came from a plain observation: Indian families already pay for teaching — school, tuition, a coaching brand — and the teaching is usually good. What's missing is the layer that makes it stick: active recall, spaced revision, testing yourself before an exam forces you to. Nobody sells that on its own. Medha does, and it sells it alongside whatever teaching a family already trusts, never against it.

Medha is built Odisha-first — ଓଡ଼ିଶାରୁ, ସାରା ଭାରତ ପାଇଁ, "from Odisha, for all of India." It starts with English-medium CBSE, ICSE and ISC schools and academies close to home, and grows outward the same way trust always does: word of mouth from a teacher, a parent, a result.

Medha targets launch in March 2027, timed to the 2027–28 academic session and gated on a full re-verification of every chapter against that year's official syllabus — a promise explained on the syllabus page.
